Litha (Summer Solstice) Falls on June 21st Also called: Midsummer Means “moon” Time for the thought forms you’ve planted to bloom. Results become visible and tangible. In Pagan sun cycle lore, this is when the Sun God reigns supreme. Some Ideas for Litha: •Collect morning dew to use in your Midsummer ritual or to empower as holy water •Begin your ritual at dawn •Work magick for partnerships or unions •Study hex signs and paint one, adding its empowerment to your ritual •Build your own circle of stones •Glue eight candle cups to a wheel and use it as a center piece for your ritual; empower each candle with a wish Poem for the Sun Hail to you, Sun of the seasons, Banisher of darkness. Hail to you, Strider of the sky, Illuminator of the souls of men. Hail, fire-dancer and earth-waker— God of the thousand rays, Gliding of the green-faced land And shimmering on the timeless waters of the Mother’s wisdom. Attachments:
