Imbolc Falls on February 2nd Also called: St. Brighid’s Day and Candlemas Means “ewe’s milk” or “around the belly” Time for seeding new visions and thinking about what we want to manifest in our lives and in ourselves. This day is sacred to Brighid, the Irish Goddess of fire and inspiration, poetry, smithcraft, and healing. Share with us a story of healing, hope, or growth through the darkness. Incantation for Healing and Hope “Spirits of Earth, Air, Fire, and Sea, Come around and comfort me. In this Darkness, hear my plea, For I am dismal and in need. Discouraged I am, and hopeless I feel, Please tend my wounds and help me heal. This is what I ask of thee, As I will, so mote it be.” Invocation to Brighid “Brighid of the holy wells, Light-bringer, Hope-bearer Comforter to women in labor And lambs in the cold fields. Brighid- eternal flame Hidden in heart, Bring blessings. Brighid, Crowned with candles Cleanser and healer, Pure as snow Milk-white Golden-haired Guardian of the sacred word, Mystical flame-bearer, Bring blessings.” Attachments:
