Paganism- a broad term for a religion that holds Nature in reverence. Not based on dogma, scriptures, or a sacred book. Instead inspiration is read from the sun, moon, stars, flight of birds, growth of trees, and cycles of the seasons.
Tradition- branch of Paganism followed by any Pagan. Can also be applied to Witchcraft.
Wicca- a modern Pagan religion with spiritual roots in the earliest expressions of reverence for nature. Some major identifying motifs are: reverence for both the Goddess and God; acceptance of reincarnation and Magick; and ritual observance of astronomical and agricultural phenomena.
God- the Divine male principle; triple aspects as son, father, sage; commonly called the Horned God or the Greenman.
Goddess- the Divine female principle; triple aspects as maiden, mother, crone; commonly referred to as the Great Goddess or the Star Goddess.
Witchcraft- not a religion; it is a craft, a practice, a form of spirituality. Witches practice Magick, especially Magick utilizing personal power in conjunction with the energies within stones, herbs, colors, and other natural objects.
All Wiccans are witches, but not all witches are Wiccans. All Wiccans are Pagans, but not all Pagans are Wiccans. Finally, some witches are Pagans, but some are not.
Solitary- a pagan or witch that prefers to work or worship alone.
Magick- the projection of natural energies (such as personal power) to bring about change in yourself and in the world. Energy exists in all things: us, plants, stones, colors, sounds, movements, words. Magick is the process of raising this energy, giving it purpose, and releasing it for manifestation through the Universal Spirit.
For successful Magick, keep in mind:
•That every action has an equal reaction
•That the longer you practice Magick, the more adept you will become
•That you should try your best to keep your thoughts and actions pure
•That what you think, you create
•That what you believe, you will manifest
•That Magick works better if added to a spiritual foundation
•That Magick does not replace hard work
Spell- a Magickal ritual, usually non-religious in nature and often accompanied by spoken words. It should be clear, concise, focused and emotional.
Ritual/Ceremony- A specific form of movement, a manipulation of objects or inner processes designed to produce desired effects.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
"...You are a child of the universe;
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be..."

THOUGHT OF THE DAY
Look inside not outside.
The answers are there and they are your answers.
You wont find them anywhere else because you are the only you.
Jesus didnt have a book, or a human mentor.
Buddha didnt have a book or a human mentor.
Lao Tzu didnt have a book or human mentor.
All those that were the 'first', went alone without a road map.
Their guides, their answers, came through them, from within.
Look within.
Your answers will be unique because they will be your answers for you.
Share and learn from each other, but always receive your own conformation of what is for you from yourself.
